George Wilkinson , PhD

I was born near Washington, D.C., and I have lived in California, Germany and Wisconsin during my research career. I have a lifelong fascination with the human mind and the mechanism of learning, and I try to use insights from neuroscience and psychology in my teaching strategies.

Outside of my work at WWU, I enjoying hiking the Cascades, distance running, speculative fiction and photography.

My scientific background is in neuroscience and cell biology.
