Events

The Biology department holds weekly seminars during the academic year. These events are open to the public. Occasionally, we hold special one-time events. Student Mentoring

The Biology Student Mentoring Program is a diverse student-led network of majors in the Biology Department who foster supportive and inclusive mentoring relationships with students interested in pursuing a degree in Biology. Students can join as Mentors or Mentees.

Research

There are a variety of ways to get involved in a Biology research lab. Undergraduate students have the option to register for research credit or work as a volunteer. Our Summer Undergraduate Research Program provides students a cohort-based community to connect and socialize with. Check out the Research Participation page for more information.

AS Clubs

Want to connect with students who have similar interests? Join a club! CSE offers many STEM clubs for students. Additionally, you can find an extensive list of AS Student Clubs here.

Undergraduate TAs

Gain valuable experience in the classroom by assisting faculty in different Biology lab and lecture courses. Contact the department office for information.
