I have ping ponged back and forth between the arts and sciences all my life. They are hard to do at the same time, so I was a science undergrad, then a classical musician for 12 years, then a scientist, and now a teacher. There is always time to learn something new!

A variety of small budget research projects using Drosophila as a model, including nuclear organization and gene expression, spermatogenesis, chromatin structure and the biology of aging. Also passionflower hybridization.
