Research Interests
I am interested in deep-sea larval ecology and community interactions at hydrothermal vents. Outside of my technical research I am passionate about conservation, creating a more diverse and inclusive space in stem.
Educational & Professional Experience
I got my BS in Marine Biology from the University of Oregon, Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in 2021; where am I worked on a variety of projects over the years ranging from mosquito husbandry and phenotyping, to intertidal ecology. After obtaining my degree I worked for two years and biotech where I gained experience in project management, technical husbandry, and molecular biology. I am passionate about outdoor education, community outreach, disability advocacy, and visual art.
